Requirement

An identifiable element of a function specification that can be validated and against which an implementation can be verified.

Adding Requirements

To add requirements

1. In the Containment tree, right-click the 05 -Requirements package and select Create Element.
   
   
   
   
2. Do one of the following:
   • In the dialog, expand General and select Requirement.
     
     
     
     
   • In the search tab, type the requirement and then select Requirement.
     
     
     
3. Name the newly created requirement in the Containment tree. The prefix 1 denotes the requirement count.
   
   
   

You can add the newly created Requirement to the Pre-Threat Scenario Table.
