Opening views via the Containment tree

Opening vews via the Containment tree

  1. Select the view element in the Containment tree and do one of the following:
    1. Double-click the view element.
    2. Right-click the view element and in the shortcut menu, click Open or Open in New Tab.
    3. On the keyboard, press Ctrl+Enter or Enter. 
      • Open is equivalent to Ctrl+Enter. The commands open the selected view in place of the currently active view. 
      • Open in New Tab is equivalent to Enter. The commands open the selected view in a new view tab.

  • In the Textual Editor, right-click the view you want to open and in the shortcut menu, click Open View.

  1. Select the view element symbol in a view and do one of the following:
    1. Double-click the view element symbol.
    2. Right-click the view element symbol and in the shortcut menu, click Open or Open in New Tab.
