Attack Path Window Enhancements
In this release, a few enhancements were implemented for the Attack Path window:
- Diagram selection. Now you can select multiple IBDs at a time.
- Shortcut menu. You can use shortcut menu to open the Specification of a selected diagram, navigate (e.g. go to related elements), and select the chosen diagram in the Containment Tree or in Structure Tree.
- Selecting usages. If an element is reused by multiple Part Properties, you will be selecting its usages as Attack Patch steps, not the element itself.
Other Enhancements
- You can change the highlight colors for the Attack Paths in the Environment options. The default highlight representation settings are:
- Orange path highlight for connections and part properties
- Green highlight for security measures part properties
- Security Asset and Security Measure stereotypes can be adorned with small icons. You can choose wether the icons should be displayed in the Environment options dialog (Options > Environment > Cybesecurity > Show Icons in Containment Tree).
- The Single Block Item crfeation is now available from the shortcut menu. A new Add as an Item shortcut menu command is now available under the Security when you right-clicking a «Block» in a SysML Block Definition Diagram.
- You can add a Lower Level Attak Patch for the selected Attack Path element. Right-click a selected Attach Path element and from the there shortcut menu, choose Security > Add Lower Level Attack Path.
- You can add a Lower Level Threat Scenario for the selected Threat Scenario element. Rught-click a selected Threat Scenario element and from the shortcut menu, choose Security > Add Lower Level Threat Scenario.
- Now, when generating the Attack Paths, the Attack Potential Attack Paths are created.
- The computation of score, rating and Level of Threat has been enhanced.
- Vulnerability related enchancements have been implemented.
