Teamwork Cloud (TWCloud) 18.5 SP1 introduces the new authentication server built as part of TWCloud, enabling an additional user authentication method using SAML. This release also includes some bug fixes. Please note: Teamwork Cloud 18.5 SP1 is ONLY compatible with MagicDraw, CEA, CSM, or CBM 18.5 SP1. Make sure you are upgrading both the modeling tool and server.




Single sign-on with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)

Many organizations allow team members to access tools and resources using the same user credentials. SAML SSO enables Teamwork Cloud (TWCloud) to use that same authentication. Users can access TWCloud projects without any additional login names and passwords. The new mechanisms used for authentication are as follows:

  • Two-way SSL.
  • Authentication via external IDPs such as ForgeRock, Ping, WSO2.
