You can distribute profiles with included customization data in the foll= owing two ways:
Using UML XMI interchange mechanisms it is possible to interchange profi= les between tools, together with models to which they have been applied. A = profile must therefore be defined as an interchangeable UML model. In addit= ion to exchanging profiles together with models between tools, profile appl= ication should also be definable =E2=80=9Cby reference=E2=80=9D; that is, a= profile does not need to be interchanged if it is already present in the i= mporting tool.
