Prerequisites

• Machine on which the modeling tool is installed has no connection to the Internet.
• Machine on which you're going to activate the license has connection to the Internet.
• You have credentials of the license owner account.

Procedure

1. To determine the Host ID of the machine on which the modeling tool is installed

   1. Start the Teamwork Server.
   2. When the License Manager dialog opens, click the Activate button. 
   3. In the Activation dialog, click the Offline Activation button.

   4. In the Offline Activation dialog, copy the text from the Host ID box.

      Note
      In case of multiple network adapters, the Host ID is encrypted.

      

      Note
      Do not close the dialog boxes. You will return to them to apply the activated license key (see Apply the activated license key).

2. To activate the license at nomagic.com

   1. On the machine that has connection to the Internet, log in at nomagic.com as license owner.

   2. At the right side of the webpage, under Members, click License Activation Management.

   3. In the License Activation Management page, click the Create New License Activation Record button.

      If there is at least one license activated with the same Host ID (on the same machine), edit the license activation record instead. Image Modified

   4. In the open dialog, provide the personal information of the user, who is going to use the modeling tool (A), paste the copied Host ID (B), and from the Licenses to activate list, select the purchased license of the modeling tool (C).

      Note
      You can activate plugin licenses together with the modeling tool license by selecting appropriate check boxes.

   5. Click Send or Download in the Get key column to receive the activated commercial license.
      
      

3. To apply the activated license key

1. 1. Return to the machine, on which the Teamwork Server is installed, in the Offline Activation dialog, click the Select License Key Files button, and select the activated commercial license key.

   2. In the License Configuration dialog, see the summary information of the license applied. 

   3. Wait while the main window of the Teamwork Server opens - now you are ready to start modeling.

      If you want to check the license information later on, select Help > About and click the Licensing tab in the open dialog.
