Before installing and configuring the Magic Teamcenter Connector, ensure that the following software requirements are met:

The Magic Teamcenter Connector works with specific third party server products. So in addition to the above requirements, you must have access to:

  • Teamcenter 11.4
  • Active Workspace 3.4

Default data mapping is based on the Teamcenter Systems Modeling and Requirements Management components. It is recommended to use a Teamcenter instance with these components.


Requirements for enabling file management and Analysis Request functionalities

To be able to use file management commands and import Analysis Request, install the following Teamcenter Mechatronics Engineering 2.4.1 kit features  on the Teamcenter server:

In the Extensions > Model Management > Server group:

    • Gateway for Modeling1

In the Extensions > Model Management > Server > UML SysML Modeling group:

    • Magic Draw UML SysML Modeling1

In the Extensions > Product Line Engineering (may be named System DrivenProduct Development) group:

    • Analysis Request Programming Interface2
    • Product Line Engineering Request2 (may be named Verification and Validation Planning and Reporting)
    • Measurable Attributes and Targets3 (may be incorporated into System Modeling and Verification and Validation Planning and Reporting)

In the Extensions > Systems Engineering and Requirements Management group:

    • Requirements Management4
    • Systems Engineering3

In the Active Workspace > Server Extensions group:

    • Requirements Management4
