Moving modeling tool to another machine - rehosting license

Moving the activated (locked to the particular machine) license from one machine to another is called rehosting.

18.0 SP7, 18.5 SP4, 19.0 SP4, and later

1. Deactivate the license on the old modeling tool installation.
2. Install the modeling tool on the new machine.
3. Start the modeling tool and activate the license.

Other versions

1. Deactivate the license on the old modeling tool installation.
2. Install the modeling tool on the new machine.
3. Start the modeling tool and activate the license.
