You no longer need to turn your focus away from your Activity diagram when you want to create additional elements. A new smart manipulator button and a shortcut menu command allow you to create Nodes or system resource by simply clicking the Swimlane header to access the Create Class button (or another represented element, depending on a model) .

 UPDM 3 Standard Support

It's our pleasure to introduce UPDM 3 Plugin that is based on upcoming UPDM 3 (UAF) standard! No more miscommunication between architects using different frameworks DoDAF, MODAF, and NAF. The modeling in UPDM 3 Plugin is less confusing and much quicker because of consistency between concepts, definitions, and semantics.

Modeling is much more efficient in UPDM 3 plugin because you can:

  • Easily use all artifacts and model elements that are based on UPDM 3 (UAF) standard.
  • Automatically migrate from UPDM 2.0 to UPDM 3.0. Please refer to Migration Guide to UPDM 3.0.
  • Simply collaborate with architects that use different but consistent frameworks now.
  • Enjoy tight integration with SysML that allows to extend UPDM model by defining SysML elements and diagrams.
  • Freely operate with the Security concepts that allows to extend your model by defining Security elements.
  • Smoothly go through samples and quickly access documentation. Please refer to UPDM 3 Plugin Documentation.
