To create an Security Controls diagram

When the diagram is created, you can start creating the appropriate elements. To illustrate the example, Security Control and Risk elements are used, but you can also choose Enhances Security Control, Security Control Family, or Enhances as well as Security Risk.
To create a Security Control in a diagram

To create the elements from other resources (e.g. Word, Excel, HTML)

When you have Security Control created, you can start connecting them using the Mitigates relationship.
To connect the elements with the Mitigates relationship
From the smart manipulator, which appears after you select the element, choose Mitigates.

Move the mouse pointer over the target element and click to finish the action.
