If you publish a Cameo Collaborator document for editing, you can decorate it by adding images and videos. Media files are added as new document paragraphs, allowing you to update them or change their location anytime.

To add media to a Cameo Collaborator document:

  • The document must be published for editing.
  • You need the Read Resources permission or Resource Reviewer role for the document.
  • You need the Read Resources and Edit Resources permission or Resource Contributor role for the project with read-write permissions for the project branch.

Cameo Collaborator supports the following media file formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg, .gif, .mp4, and .mov.



To add media to a Cameo Collaborator document

  1. Open a Cameo Collaborator document.

  2. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  3. Click the Add media icon in the location of an open document section where you want to add media.



  4. In the Add media pane, do the following:
    1. Optionally enter the media title in the Media title field. If you skip this step, the media file name will be used as the media title.
    2. If needed, change the media number in the Media number field.
    3. Drag the media file to the box at the bottom of the Add media pane, or click the box and select the file from your computer.



  5. Click on the top right corner of the Add media pane.
  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to add more media files or click on the bottom right corner of the content pane to exit the editing mode.


Changing media location

You can change the location of the media added to a Cameo Collaborator document by cutting and pasting it in a new location.


To change media location

  1. Open a Cameo Collaborator document.

  2. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  3. Click the Cut icon under the media whose location you want to change.



  4. Click the Paste icon in the location of an open document section where you want to move the media.

    If you want to move the image from one document section to another, use the navigation pane to open a different section of the same document view and then paste the image.




  5. Click to exit the editing mode.
