Cannot import projects from one 3DEXPERIENCE platform to another 3DEXPERIENCE platform

If you cannot import a server project file from one 3DEXPERIENCE platform to another, ensure that the target server already has the same version of the standard profiles used by the source project. If you receive a message about missing standard profiles during the import, add the required profiles to the target server and try again.

You can only add standard profiles to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform if one of the following conditions are met:

  • No standard profiles exist in the platform, and you can add them as new projects.
  • The standard profiles you want to add are of a later version than the profiles already stored in the platform. In this case, you can migrate the existing profiles to a later version (to match the version of the project you want to import).

If the standard profiles you want to add are of an earlier version than those already stored in the platform, you must upgrade your modeling tool and the project to match the profile version stored in the target platform before the import.
