Cannot import projects from one 3DEXPERIENCE platform to another 3DEXPERIENCE platform

If you cannot import a server project file from one 3DEXPERIENCE platform to another, ensure that the target server already has the same version of the standard profiles used by the source project. If you receive a message about missing standard profiles during the import, add the required profiles to the target server and try again.

You can only add standard profiles to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform if one of the following conditions are met:

No standard profiles exist in the platform, and you can add them as new projects.
The standard profiles you want to add are of a later version than the profiles already stored in the platform. In this case, you can migrate the existing profiles to a later version (to match the version of the project you want to import).

If the standard profiles you want to add are of an earlier version than those already stored in the platform, you must upgrade your modeling tool and the project to match the profile version stored in the target platform before the import.

Cannot import projects from Teamwork Cloud to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

If you cannot import a server project file from Teamwork Cloud to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, make sure the exported projects meet the following criteria:

Exported projects cannot have cyclic project usages.
A cyclic project usage is the kind of usage where a project uses itself through other used projects and forms a usage loop. You can use the Resource Usage Map application to identify cyclic project usages.
Exported projects cannot have version conflicts in project usages.
A version conflict occurs when a project uses different versions of the same project directly and through other used projects. Learn to troubleshoot used project version conflicts.
Exported projects cannot have recovered elements.
A recovered element is an indication of a dangling reference. It means that a project has a reference to the element in a used project that can no longer be found. In this case, a modeling tool recovers the missing element to maintain model integrity. Learn to resolve dangling references.
Standard/system profiles used by exported projects (including used projects) must be imported to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Learn to add standard/system profiles to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
If you want to import a Teamwork Cloud project exported without used projects, all of these used projects must be already imported to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (the versions of all used projects must match the used project versions on the platform).
