This chapter explains how to activate and/or update the license required to access and use Magic Collaboration Studio features. Magic Collaboration Studio uses the FlexNet License server to manage its licenses. So before applying a license to the product, follow these steps:

1. Install and start the FlexNet license server.
2. Check if the FlexNet server is running.
3. Add the Magic Collaboration Studio license to the FlexNet server.
