The modeling tool Reader Mode is used to read projects. You will be able to open projects, including server projects, view diagrams, print, and copy as images. 

The reader mode is available for all the modeling tools.

Prerequisites

• You have the modeling tool installed.

To start using the Reader Mode for the first time

1. Start the modeling tool for the first time. The License Manager dialog is displayed.
2. In the License Manager dialog, click the Use in Reader Mode button. The License Agreement window opens.
3. In the License Agreement window, click the I Agree button.

If you were working with the modeling tool's licensed version but need to switch to the Reader Mode, follow the steps of the procedure below.

To switch to the Reader Mode

1. In the modeling tool's main menu, click Help > License Manager.
2. In the open License Manager dialog, click the Use in Reader Mode button. The License Agreement window opens.
3. In the License Agreement window, click the I Agree button.
4. Restart the modeling tool.

You can always go back from using the Reader Mode to the licensed modeling tool version. 

To switch back to the licensed version

1. In the modeling tool's main menu, click Help > License Manager.
2. In the open License Manager dialog, do one of the following:
   1. Click the Use Floating License button. Restart the modeling tool.
   2. Click the Select License Key File button. Add the license key and restart the modeling tool.
