To create an Strategic Motivation diagram
When the diagram is created, you can start creating the appropriate elements. To illustrate the example, Opportunity and Challenge elements are used, but you can also choose Driver or Effect.

When you have Opportunity created, you can start connecting them using the Enables or Motivated By relationships. If you choose Enables relationship, the Enterprise Goal is created on the other end of the relationship. If you choose Motivated By, a Challenge is created on the other end of the relationship.
To connect the elements with the Motivated By relationship
From the smart manipulator, which appears after you select the element, choose Motivated By.

Move the mouse pointer over the target element and click to finish the action.
