You can include content, such as diagrams and tables, from one document into another. Keep the included content up-to-date by selecting to display its latest version or include the current content version to make sure it will stay the same.

Prerequisites

To add media to a Cameo Collaborator document:

  • The document must be published for editing.
  • You need the Read Resources permission or Resource Reviewer role for the document.
  • You need the Read Resources and Edit Resources permission or Resource Contributor role for the project with read-write permissions for the project branch.


To insert content from another Cameo Collaborator document


  1. Open a Cameo Collaborator document.

  2. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  3. Click the Insert from document icon in the location of an open document section where you want to include content.



  4. In the open wizard, select the document from which you want to insert the content.
  5. In the next step, navigate to and select the document section from which you want to insert the content.
  6. Select the element of the section you want to insert.

    You can only insert tables and diagrams.

  7. Select one of the following insert settings:
    • Display latest version - automatically updates the inserted content to the latest version when it becomes available.
    • Display current version (at the time when inserting) - always displays the content version that was available at the time of insertion.



  8. Click the Add button.
  9. Repeat steps 3 to 8 to insert more content or click on the bottom right corner of the content pane to exit the editing mode.
