Issue
All Service Access elements are migrated to Capability Configuration elements. That affects all diagrams in the Services viewpoint (SvcV). For resources modeling in SV diagrams, use Capability Configuration elements, but for services modeling in SvcV diagrams, the Capability Configurations, Resource Roles, all relationships, and Ports must be converted manually.
Solution
For smooth Capability Configurations, Resource Roles, all relationships, and Ports manually conversion, do the following:
Convert Capability Configurations to Services
To convert Capability Configuration to Service
- Right-click the single or multiple Capability Configurations.
- Select Refactor > Convert To > More Elements.
- From the opened dialog, choose the Service element.
- Confirm this selection by clicking Yes in the warning message.
Convert Resource Roles to Service Roles
If Capability Configuration has a Resource Role, it must be converted to Service Role manually.
To convert Resource Role to Service Role
- Right-click the single or multiple Resource Roles.
- Select Refactor > Convert To > More Elements.
- From the opened dialog, choose the Service Role element.
- Confirm this selection by clicking Yes in the warning message.
Convert relationships between Service Roles to Service Connectors
All existing relationships between already converted Service Roles must be converted to Service Connector manually.
To convert relationships between Service Role to Service Connector
- Right-click the single or multiple relationships between ServiceRoles.
- Select Refactor > Convert To > More Elements.
- From the opened dialog, choose the Service Connector element.
- Confirm this selection by clicking Yes in the warning message.
Convert Ports to Service Ports
If Service has Ports, they must be converted to Service Ports manually.
To convert Port to Service Port
- Right-click the single or multiple Ports.
- Select Refactor > Convert To > More Elements.
- From the opened dialog, choose the Service Port element.
- Confirm this selection by clicking Yes in the warning message.
