Post-processing the SysML v2 model

Overview

This activity diagram describes activities performed after the initial transformation has completed.

The objective of post-processing is to adapt the generated SysML v2 model to organizational modeling practices and fully exploit SysML v2 capabilities.

Process 

The process starts with evaluating the generated SysML v2 model.

Systems engineers then perform a series of manual improvement activities:

• Reorganize the model structure.
• Refactor model elements.
• Apply SysML v2 modeling practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational modeling methods.

Examples of post-processing activities include introducing usage-focused modeling patterns, restructuring model ownership hierarchies, and aligning the model with organizational conventions.

The process is iterative. If the model does not satisfy organizational requirements, additional improvements are applied until compliance is achieved.
