Diagram Synchronization

You can synchronize a single diagram or an entire package of diagrams from the modeling tool into the JAMA Connect project.  All types of diagrams available in the modeling tool are supported. The synchronized diagram is converted to an image and is embedded in the description property of the corresponding JAMA Connect project item. When you synchronize, the image on the JAMA Connect side is updated if the related diagram is modified in the modeling tool.


To synchronize the diagram

  1. Drag and drop a diagram or a diagram package onto the project, component, or set node.



  2. In the Copy Data with Sync dialog, map the Diagram on the modeling tool side to the Text on the JAMA Connect side.



  3. In Select Attribute to Sync section, map the Documentation attribute against the Description and the Name attribute against the Name.



  4. Click OK.
