DSLS (Dassault Systèmes License Server) is a licensing system developed by Dassault Systèmes that, in addition to seat and floating, also provides a managed licensing option.
Managed DSLS is also known as Managed Licensing Service.
With Managed DSLS, an on-premise customer no longer needs a physical machine to install DS License Server (DSLS). The license server is managed by Dassault Systèmes and located in the Dassault Systèmes Cloud datacenter.
Client machines authorized by the customer (authentication file) and located on the customer’s premises access the DSLS remotely. An administrator on the customer’s premises access the DSLS through a web interface using a login and a password.
