The image shape provides a simple and quick way to insert a image into a diagram. Images may include logos, graphs, tables, or others. The default shape size after the insertion is the actual image size.
You can format image shape representation properties in the Symbol Properties dialog.
To insert an image on the diagram pane
- On the diagram palette, in the Common category, click the
Image Shape button or press the I key. - Click on the diagram pane. The Open dialog opens.
- Browse for an image in the *.gif, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.svg, or *.png format and click Open.
