You can collaborate with people working on different Teamwork Cloud and 3DEXPERIENCE platform instances by using the server project file format (.szip). When a project is exported to a server project file, you can use it to update an existing project or import it as a new project on another server. Server project files can be used in the following way:

  • To import projects from one Teamwork Cloud server to another Teamwork Cloud server.
  • To import projects from the Teamwork Cloud server to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • To import projects from one 3DEXPERIENCE platform to another 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

You cannot open server project files locally. To view the contents of a server project file, you must import it to the server as a new project or use it to update an existing project.
