CATIA Magic/No Magic Modeling Tools

2024x Refresh1 Hot Fix 1 is now available for CATIA Magic and No Magic portfolios. It includes a number of improvements, bug fixes, and vulnerability fixes in our modeling tools and server products.

Magic Software Architect / MagicDraw

• The issue where an element is pasted to the current owner if the containment path on a diagram is pasted too has been resolved. Now, you can copy-paste an element to a different owner, allowing you to update the containment path. 
• The issue where magnifying a relation map using a Mac trackpad throws an exception has been resolved. 
• The modeling tool no longer gets unresponsive when a modeling tool-specific window is placed on a second monitor and the monitor is disconnected. 
• The issue where a validation failure is not reported if the error message has an incorrect script has been resolved. 
• The screen recording dialog is no longer shown upon launching the modeling tool on macOS. 
• The issue of the DSLS Mac native library not being signed has been resolved. 
• The modeling tool no longer freezes upon clicking the ‘Add New’ button in a Generic Table. 
• The issue where updated table rows are not highlighted after syncing Excel files has been resolved. 
• Excel file texts are no longer imported with incorrect fonts. 
• Excel files exported from Generic tables now have consistent sheet names. 
• The expanded tables are no longer displayed as collapsed in Diagram Overview shapes after reloading the project. 
• Copy-pasted symbols are no longer affected by the symbol style changes made to the original symbol after copying.
• The issue of pasting HTML text in the Advanced HTML Editor not displaying the pasted text in the TextBox or Note has been resolved. 
• Additional content is no longer added after Excel import when the ‘Sync Plain Text’ option is disabled.

• • The problem where in certain cases duplicated references are created from the «Customization» stereotype to stereotyped elements has been resolved.
  • The issue where in certain cases an exception occurs when initiating the project usages table has been fixed.
  • The problem where an exception occurs after trying to change the version of a used project has been fixed.

• • The issue where the name of a duplicated project is changed to the original project name has been fixed.
  • The Requirements Table no longer get corrupted after committing a project.
  • The problem where the project commit fails after saving a project offline or restoring an auto-saved project has been fixed.
  • The issue where the project commit fails after importing a used project that has other usages has been resolved.
  • Several issues causing the package export to a new server project to fail has been resolved.
  • The problem where you cannot commit a project after importing a used project with DSL elements has been fixed.
  • Elements no longer lose their constraints after exporting the package with the constraints to a new server project.
  • The issue where in certain cases the name of a used project is changed after the project commit has been fixed.
  • The problem where an exception occurs when trying to migrate profiles has been fixed.

Magic Cyber Systems Engineer / Cameo Systems Modeler / SysML

• The port symbol property’s ‘Position of Labels’ value ‘Inside Enclosing Shape’ now works as expected for nested ports. 

Magic Model Analyst / Cameo Simulation Toolkit

• The issue where the default value of a constraint parameter is not passed to another constraint parameter has been fixed.
• The problem where in certain cases signals with redefined properties are not sent during simulation has been resolved.
• The problem where in certain scenarios it is impossible to add a property value in the variables tree has been fixed.
• Server-side simulation no longer needs an additional license to work.
• The issue where you cannot add a breakpoint to a port from the Containment tree has been resolved.

Magic Systems of Systems Architect / Cameo Enterprise Architecture / UAF 1.2

• The order of added Capability Provision in the Strategic Phasing chart's details panel has been improved to bring more clarity. 
• The issue where Strategic Phasing Gantt Capability Provision bar is not updated after changing the time periods in the Capability Provision area has been fixed.

Magic Collaboration Studio / Teamwork Cloud / Cameo Collaborator

• Fixed a cross-cluster resource synchronization failure that would occur when the authentication token changed.
• Performance issues caused by creating model elements via the Teamwork Cloud REST API, which resulted in large multi-value property lists, have been resolved.

Cameo DataHub

• The migration issues that occurred while accessing synchronized data from previous versions have been fixed to ensure data consistency.

Systems Cybersecurity Designer

• • An issue that prevented the simultaneous deselection of multiple Threat Types in the Select Threat Type dialog has been fixed.
  • An issue where the dropdown list for core parameters in Attack Potential-Based Attack Path failed to appear when reopening the project has been fixed.
