After all LDAP server configuration is completed, the users and groups can be imported. TWCloud importing also works as users synchronization mechanism. This means that already existing users (you can see this users data in the Users application before choosing to import users) will only be synchronized and new users in the TWCloud Admin will be imported. This importing and synchronization mechanism applies to groups too. Data like full name, phone, email, and department will be synchronized. 


To import/synchronize users and groups

  1. Do one of the following: 

    • On the LDAP management page, click next to select the LDAP server.

    • Click selected LDAP server and in the opened LDAP configuration pane, click .

  2. Select to Import users/groups. The Import LDAP user/group pane opens. 
  3. Query all users/groups or specific users/groups and select them. 
  4. Click  button. New users/groups will be imported or already existing users/groups will be synchronized. The existing user information will be updated but the role assignment stays the same.
