You have two options to install Teamwork Cloud (TWCloud) on Linux. You can install it using either the installer file or the zip file. The installer file installs TWCloud and asks you to provide the required configuration values during installation process and also creates a Linux service for you. But if you use the zip file, you need to unzip the file, configure the required parameters and follow some additional instructions in order to run it as a service on Linux. You need to install Cassandra prior to installing TWCloud on your machine.
You can install TWCloud in the following ways:
- Installation on Linux using scripts. This is an automated process that includes the instruction to properly set up the operating systems partitions, fixes to the Cassandra startup scripts, as well as the installation of the Flexnet license server.
- Manual installation on Linux. This is a step-by-step instruction that includes script editing descriptions, mostly intended for users who do not download TWC/Cassandra installation files.
Once the installation is complete, you need to apply the TWCloud license to start working with TWCloud in a modeling tool and using TWCloud Admin.
