You can create sections anywhere in a Cameo Collaborator document and reorder them in the scope of the current document view. New sections can later be filled with any type of content, like paragraphs and images.


Creating document sections

Follow the steps below to create a new section in a Cameo Collaborator document.


To create a document section


  1. Open a Cameo Collaborator document.

  2. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  3. Click the Create section chip at the top of a section.
  4. In the Create section pane on the right side of the screen, enter the section name in the appropriate box.
  5. In the Create section pane, click the Place section drop-down box and select one of the following options:
    • Below - to create a section below the current section.
    • Above - to create a section above the current section.
    • Inner section - to create a subsection within the current section, positioned one level deeper in the navigation tree hierarchy.
  6. Click .


The newly created section is empty and only has a name. Now you can fill it with content, like paragraphs and images.

You can change a section's name the same way you edit other items in a Cameo Collaborator document. For more information, refer to Editing element values.


Creating document sections.

Reordering document sections

You can reorder the sections created in a Cameo Collaborator document as described below.

Note that the position of a document section can only be changed within the scope of the current document view.


To change the position of a document section


  1. In the app bar of a Cameo Collaborator document, click and select Manage sections.
  2. In the Manage sections dialog, expand the document navigation tree and locate the section whose position you what to change.

    The sections you can reorder are highlighted in the Manage sections dialog.

  3. Drag the section to a new location, as shown in the figure below.

    If you want to move a section one level deeper in the document hierarchy, i.e., make it an inner section of another document section, drag and drop the section on top of another section.

  4. Once you are happy with the new position of the document section, click the Save button on the bottom right corner of the window.
