Collaborator for Teamwork Cloud supports hyperlinks to web pages, model elements, and document sections in all string-type values. You can also add cross-references to any part of a document section, including images and tables.


To add a hyperlink to a web page


  1. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  2. Select the string-type value or paragraph where you want to add a hyperlink. Editable items are highlighted in yellow when hovering over them with a mouse pointer.

  3. In the Edit pane on the right side of the screen, click the Full screen icon.
  4. In the toolbar of an open screen, click .
  5. In the Adress tab of an open dialog, specify the following information:
    1. In the URL box, enter the web page address to which you want to add a hyperlink.
    2. In the Text to display box, optionally type the text you want to use for the hyperlink.



  6. Click the Add button. The hyperlink will be displayed on the screen.
  7. On the top left corner of the screen, click to exit the full-screen mode.
  8. On the top right corner of the Edit pane, click to save the changes.

In a Cameo Collaborator document, you can hyperlinks to model elements for easier navigation in the document. Hyperlinks can be represented as element names, representation text, or any custom text. In addition, you have the ability to choose whether hyperlinks are updated when element names change.


To add a hyperlink to a model element


  1. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  2. Select the string-type value or paragraph where you want to add a hyperlink. Editable items are highlighted in yellow when hovering over them with a mouse pointer.

  3. In the Edit pane on the right side of the screen, click the Full screen icon.
  4. In the toolbar of an open screen, click .
  5. In the open dialog, go to the Model element tab and specify the following information:
    1. In Text to display drop-down box, select one of the following options:
      • Name - the hyperlink is displayed as the element name.
      • Representation Text - the hyperlink is displayed as the element representation text.
      • Icon + Representation Text - the hyperlink is displayed as the element representation text with the element icon.
      • Custom Text - the hyperlink is displayed as your custom text. Type the hyperlink text in the additional Text to display box, which appears after selecting the Custom Text option.

        If you use custom text for the hyperlink, it cannot be updated when the element name changes. Therefore, the only available update mode (see the next step) is Do not update.

    2. In the Update mode drop-down box, select one of the following options:
      • Automatically updated - the element name or representation text used for the hyperlink is automatically updated when the element name changes.
      • Automatically checked - the hyperlink to an element is automatically checked in the related project using modeling tool validation.
      • Manually checked - the hyperlink to an element is manually checked in the related project using modeling tool validation.
      • Do not update - the hyperlink text stays the same regardless of any model changes.
    3. In the document navigation tree at the bottom of the dialog, select the model element to which you want to add a hyperlink.



  6. Click the Add button. The hyperlink will be displayed on the screen.
  7. On the top left corner of the screen, click to exit the full-screen mode.
  8. On the top right corner of the Edit pane, click to save the changes.

Cameo Collaborator for Teamwork Cloud offers a convenient way to incorporate references to any section of a Cameo Collaborator document.


To add a hyperlink to a document section or an element inside a section


  1. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  2. Select the string-type value or paragraph where you want to add a hyperlink. Editable items are highlighted in yellow when hovering over them with a mouse pointer.

  3. In the Edit pane on the right side of the screen, click the Full screen icon.
  4. In the toolbar of an open screen, click .
  5. In the open dialog, go to the Document section tab and specify the following information:
    1. In the Text to display box, optionally type the text to be used for the hyperlink. If you skip this step, the section name is used instead.

    2. In the document navigation tree at the bottom of the dialog, select the document section you want to add a hyperlink to.



  6. Click the Add button. The hyperlink will be displayed on the screen.
  7. On the top left corner of the screen, click to exit the full-screen mode.
  8. On the top right corner of the Edit pane, click to save the changes.

In addition to being able to cross-reference document sections, you can include hyperlinks to presentation elements within a section, like figures and tables.


To add a hyperlink to a presentation element inside a document section


  1. Click  on the bottom right corner of the content pane.

  2. Select the string-type value or paragraph where you want to add a hyperlink. Editable items are highlighted in yellow when hovering over them with a mouse pointer.

  3. In the Edit pane on the right side of the screen, click the Full screen icon.
  4. In the toolbar of an open screen, click .
  5. In the open dialog, go to the Document section tab and specify the following information:
    1. In the Text to display box, optionally type the text to be used for the hyperlink. If you skip this step, the presentation element name will be used instead.

    2. In the document navigation tree at the bottom of the dialog, select the document section containing the presentation element you want to add a hyperlink to.
    3. Click the Next button.
    4. In the second step of the wizard, select the presentation element you want to add a hyperlink to.



  6. Click the Add button. The hyperlink will be displayed on the screen.
  7. On the top left corner of the screen, click to exit the full-screen mode.
  8. On the top right corner of the Edit pane, click to save the changes.
