To create a Service Exchange in the Service Sequences diagram

  1. Open the  Realized Service Exchange wizard  by doing one of the following:
    • On the diagram pane, select the Service Message between a pair of two Lifelines of Service Roles, and in the smart manipulator toolbar, click.
    • Click and on the diagram palette select the Service Message.
  2. Specify the Service Exchange, Conveyed Item, and Direction.
  3. Click Next to specify Producing and Consuming Activities.
  4. Click Finish when you are done.

You can use the Service Exchange Manager dialog that enables you to analyze and manage the Service Exchanges data.
