To create an OV-2 diagram

  1. Create Operational Performers.
  2. Connect them using the Associations relationship.
  3. Create Operational Exchanges flowing via Association.

An OV-2 view also allows you to show mappings among Capabilities and Operational Performers, Physical Location requirements, and Services provided or requested by Operational Performers.

The structure of each Operational Performer can be modeled using the OV-2 Operational Resource Flow Internal Description diagram.

Once the OV-2 diagram has been completed, you can proceed creating the OV-5 diagram.
