To create an Operational Constraints Definition diagram


  1. Create Operational Performers.
  2. Connect them using the Associations relationship.
  3. Create Operational Exchanges flowing via Association.

An Operational Constraints Definition view also allows you to show mappings among Capabilities and Operational Performers, Physical Location requirements, and Services provided or requested by Operational Performers.

The structure of each Operational Performer can be modeled using the Operational Internal Connectivity diagram.

To create an Operational Exchange in the Operational Constraints Definition diagram


  1. Open the Realized Operational Exchange wizard by doing one of the following:
    • On the diagram pane, select the Association between a pair of Operational Performers and on the smart manipulator toolbar, click New Operational Exchange
    •  Click Operational Exchange and on the diagram pane, connect Operational Performers. 
     
  2. Specify the Operational Exchange, Conveyed Item, and Direction.
  3. Click Next to specify Producing and Consuming Activities.
  4. Click Finish when you are done.

You can use Operational Exchange Manager dialog that enables to analyze and manage the Operational Exchanges data.
