Description
The C4 Standard Processes view specifies Standard Operational Activities, and optionally traces them to the capabilities they support. Some processes are standard across the whole enterprise, or even more than one enterprise. The Standard Operational Activities can be re-used across multiple logical architectures (e.g. in L4).
The C4 view may be used to:
- Specify a doctrine.
- Trace capabilities to enduring tasks.
- Trace capabilities to standard operational activities.
- Audit a capability.
Implementation
The C4 view can be represented using a C4 diagram which is an editable Dependency Matrix. The Capabilities will be used as row elements and the Standard Operational Activities will be used as column elements.
