1. Install Apache Cassandra. (For the Cassandra version, see System requirements).

   To obtain the Cassandra installation file do one of the following: After downloading

   The Apache Cassandra installation file is not included in Magic Collaboration Studio installation files . In addition, we do not provide support for Cassandra installations on Windows because such installations are not natively supported by Apache. We strongly recommend using Linux deployments instead , extract the magic_collaboration_studio_<version_number>_no_install_win64.zip file. You will find the Cassandra installation file in the magic_collaboration_studio_<version_number>_no_install_win64\MagicCollaborationStudio\Utilities directory. Install Magic Collaboration Studio but do not start any of its services. Go to the Magic_Collaboration_Studio_install_directory\Utilities directory and obtain the Cassandra installation file. Install Apache Cassandra, check if it is working, and only then start the Magic Collaboration Studio services.

   
   

2. Install Magic Collaboration Studio in one of the following ways:
   • Use the installer file (recommended).
   • Use the no-installer file.
