When users A user can lock elements for editing in a modeling tool, you can release these element locks in Resources and Users applicationsseveral different projects. The Users application allows you to unlock all the elements locked by a specific user.
You can use the Resources application to unlock the elements of a specific project locked by several different users.

To release locked elements, you must have the Resource Locks Administrator role (or the Read Resources and Release Resource Locks permissions) for the resources you want to unlock. - Navigate to the Users application . Do and do one of the following:
- Click
next next to resource, a user and choose toselect Release locked elements. Click a user and in the User pane, click
and choose to Release locked elements .and select Release locked elements.
- Click
In the Release locked elements pane, select the elements you want to unlock.
nameTip You can use a locked element filter to search for elements according to the resource
or branch name.
Release locked elements opens. Select elements. Click the Unlock button.
Click the Unlock buttonNote title Unlocking project elements in a branch If a project is locked in different branches, releasing lock(s) on a branch will not release other locks in the other branches.
