MODAF/NAF: A PhysicalDataModel is an implementable specification of a data structure. A PhysicalDataModel realizes a LogicalDataModel, taking into account implementation restrictions and performance issues whilst still enforcing the constraints, relationships and typing of the logical model.

DoDAF: A Physical Data Model defines the structure of the various kinds of system or service data that are utilized by the systems or services in the Architecture.
