During simulating an interaction, Simulation Toolkit checks if the active State contains the required State (State Invariant), and the time is exactly as specified (Time constraint). However, the time constraint is not used as the delay time.

If messages have both duration constraints and time constraints, Cameo Simulation Toolkit will use the duration constraints to delay the delivery of the messages.

You can specify a time constraint in messages Messages in a the Sequence diagram. Cameo Simulation Toolkit uses the time constraint as a timestamp on a message when it records simulation as a Sequence diagram (see Executing an interaction model). During an Interaction simulation, Cameo Simulation Toolkit uses the time constraint to compute the duration of time and uses it to delay delivery of a pair of consecutive messages.
