CATIA Magic/No Magic Modeling Tools

2024x Hot Fix 3 is now available for CATIA Magic and No Magic portfolios. It includes a number of improvements, bug fixes, and vulnerability fixes in our modeling tools and server products.

Hot Fix version compatibility

The version and Hot Fix number of a modeling tool and its plugins must be the same. After installing the Hot Fix version of a modeling tool, select the same Hot Fix version when downloading its plugins. The modeling tool will not work correctly if you install plugins of a different version and/or Hot Fix number.




Magic Software Architect / MagicDraw

  • JxBrowser has been updated to version 7.41.2 to support modeling tool features with an embedded web browser for macOS Sequoia users.

Collaboration

    • The issue where in certain cases you get an exception after initializing the usages table has been fixed. MDUML-135023
    • The problem where in some occasions it is impossible to change a used project version has been resolved. MDUML-135011

Magic Model Analyst / Cameo Simulation Toolkit

  • The issue where bundled Java is not used for the simulation from the command line has been fixed. SIM-19335
  • Now, Dymola 2024x Refresh1 works with the simulation plugin with no issues. SIM-19334
  • The problem where server-side simulation needs an additional license to work has been resolved. SIM-19300
  • During simulation, the default value of a constraint parameter is now passed to another constraint parameter as expected. SIM-19297
  • The issue where in some occasions a signal is not send and a State Machine is stuck waiting for signal has been fixed. SIM-19296
  • The issue where you cannot select a classifier as the value of a variable has been resolved. SIM-19295

Magic Collaboration Studio / Teamwork Cloud / Cameo Collaborator

  • Fixed a cross-cluster resource synchronization failure that would occur when the authentication token changed.
  • Cross-cluster resource synchronization no longer fails when previously merged branches are removed from the target server.

  • Performance issues caused by creating model elements via the Teamwork Cloud REST API, which resulted in large multi-value property lists, have been resolved.

Cameo DataHub

  • The migration issues that occurred while accessing synchronized data from previous versions have been fixed to ensure data consistency.
