The SGI-Crawler service indexes Magic Collaboration Studio projects in the Semantic Graph Index (SGI) of the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform. This allows for the CATIA Systems Traceability analysis to use Magic Collaboration Studio projects or Magic Collaboration Studio elements inside a Traceability scope.

The SGI-Crawler service only works with 25xFD03 or older versions of the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform.

Prerequisites

  • Before activating the SGI-Crawler service, you need:
    • A sandbox or 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform deployed (version 2025x or later; you can use 2024xFD04 for testing).
    • A deployed Magic Collaboration Studio server with a Cassandra database and a Web Application Platform server (2024x Refresh2 or later).
    • Administrator privileges on the Teamwork Cloud Web Application Platform server to be able to activate and configure SGI-Crawler.
  • On the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform, you need:
    • Enterprise Integration Architect (PFI) role to be able to create Agents.
    • A user with Data Analyst (DAA) and Data Engineer (DAE) roles to access the Semantic Graph Index (SGI) service.
  • On Web Application Platform, you need:
    • A new or existing Teamwork Cloud user with these required roles:
      • Resource Reviewer
      • Security Manager

The scope of resources for these roles can be global or custom, but the scope of both roles should cover the entire list of Magic Collaboration Studio projects to be indexed by the SGI service.

Once you meet these prerequisites, please see the following sections on configuring the SGI-Crawler service:
