Magic Systems Modeler is based on the award-winning MagicDraw modeling platform. The solution retains all the best diagramming, collaboration, persistence, and documentation capabilities while offering more customized capabilities tailored to software engineering needs.

The documentation of Magic Software Engineer is a package that includes the documentation of these capabilities:


Resources application

Resources is a web application which allows you to access and manage server projects, Collaborator documents, and OSLC resources



Collaborator application

Collaborator allows you to present models in a simplified form for stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams. It also provides a collaborative environment where team members can review and leave feedback about a model.



Web Application Platform

Web Application Platform is the base for Resources, Collaborator and TWCloud Admin apps. Use the search bar to find information in the platform administrator guide.



Installation and licensing

Provides the instructions about how to install modeling tool and plugins, add or remove licenses, perform activation. 



General capabilities

Introduces the main features of modeling tool: working with projects, UML 2 modeling and diagramming, collaboration capabilities, and many more core features.

TWCloud Admin

The CSV Import plugin for modeling tool allows you to import values in a comma separated values file into your modelling tool and create model elements, diagrams and relationships from that data. CSV import is enabled/disable by the user.




Excel import

The Excel Import plugin is an effective and useful tool, designed to allow you to import data or information from any Excel (.xls and .xlsx) or CSV (.csv and .txt) file to modeling tool, as well as export data from a project into an Excel or a CSV file. Excel import is enabled/disable by the user.
