License deactivation is the process returning of activated licenses to the license pool. Such deactivation is needed if you:
- Upgrade the modeling tool manually
- Move you license to the another workstation
- Install a new modeling tool version
- Start using another modeling tool edition, and other.
Prerequisites
- Machine on which the modeling tool is installed has connection to the Internet.
- You have the license activated for your modeling tool.
Procedure
- Start the modeling tool.
- Click Help > License Manager. The License Manager dialog opens.
- Click Deactivate. The modeling tool closes, your licenses are deactivated and may be used by other users.
