The Security Role-based Connectivity (Resource) Table specifies the characteristics of the data exchange between Resource Roles. You can fill in a table by adding new or existing Resource Exchanges or Resource Connectors.

If you choose to add a Resource Connector, all Resoutce Exchanges flowing via that connector will be added to the table.


Adding existing Resource Exchanges or Resource Connectors in a Security Role-based Connectivity Table

To add an existing Resource Exchange or Resource Connector


  1. In the table toolbar, click the Add Existing button. The Select Element dialog opens.
  2. In the dialog select needed Resource Exchanges.
  3. Click OK when you are done.
    The rows with selected Resource Exchanges are added to the table.
  • Resource Exchanges Identifier, Resource Exchanges Item Name, Producing and Consuming Functions, and a wide range of measurement cells are allowed to edit in the table. All other cells are read-only. 
  • You can use the Resource Exchange Manager dialog to analyze and manage the Resource Exchange data. 

Modifying Producing and Consuming Functions

You can modify the Producing and Consuming Functions for the selected Resource Exchange (if they are created).

To modify the Producing and Consuming Functions


  1. In the table, click the needed Resource Exchange.
  2. In the table toolbar, click the Functions button.
  3. In the open Producing and Consuming Functions dialog, review the Functions and remove the ones you don't need.
