NAV-2 Integrated Dictionary

Description

The NAV-2 presents all the metadata used in an architecture. An NAV-2 presents all the data as a hierarchy and provides a text definition for each one by displaying the following properties:

• The name used for this element in the architecture
• Alternative names for this element, for example, if the element is listed in the NATO ontology it may have multiple names
• A brief description of the element

Implementation

NAV-2 can be represented:

• Using a report, which is automatically generated from all data.

• An AV-2 table.

  If you have NAV-2 diagrams from previous versions, they will bemigrated into the NAV-1 diagram when loading the project with UPDM 17.0.2.
