You can display custom Measurements in addition to predefined ones in the <viewpoint name>* Connectivity and Role-based Connectivity tables by adding new columns. Measurements can be displayed for the <viewpoint specific>** Exchanges. 
When you are adding a new Measurement column, Measurements are collected from the elements used only in the active table. The collected Measurements are displayed in the Measurements dialog. You can select the desired Measurement which will be displayed as a newly created column in the table.

You can manage custom Measurements by removing them.

To add a column with Measurements


  1. On the table toolbar, click Columns > Measurements.  
  2. In the Measurements dialog, click the <viewpoint specific>** Exchange or <viewpoint specific>** Exchange Item tab.  
  3. In the selected tab, click to choose the desired Measurement.
  4. Click OK, when you are done.

 

To remove columns with Measurements


  1. On the table toolbar, click Columns > Measurements.
  2. In the  Measurements dialog, click the <viewpoint specific>** Exchange or <viewpoint specific>** Exchange Item tab.
  3. In the opened tab, click the Clear All button to clear all the selected check boxes.
  4. Click OK, when you are done.

The Measurement column is automatically removed after doing one of the following actions:

  • Removing the <viewpoint specific>** Exchange from the model or table. The column is not removed if the Measurement of the removed <viewpoint specific>** Exchange is used by the other <viewpoint specific>** Exchange in the table.
  • Removing the conveyed element from the model or table. The column is not removed if the Measurement of the removed conveyed element is used by the other <viewpoint specific>** Exchange Item in the table.
  • Removing the Measurement Set which includes the Measurement represented by a table column from the model.
