You can import LDAP users and groups from an LDAP server to the TWCloud system. The imported users and groups from the LDAP server are called external. All users and groups data and information are stored in the external servers or LDAP servers. Use either of the following pages to import LDAP users:
- Users application.
- Setting application > LDAP management.
To be able import users or groups at least one LDAP directory must been added to the TWCloud system (see Adding an LDAP server to TWCloud).
Notes
- Because of LDAP export limit TWCloud Admin console can only import 1000 members per time.
- When you select a duplicate username to import into the TWCloud system, only the user information will be imported to update the existing internal or external users.
- TWCloud supports Unicode characters in the usernames of the imported users. However, you cannot use the following characters for a username / \ [ ] : ; | = + * ? < > " , & { } ( ) ' %
