The structure of your project might change when you switch back and forth between local and server projects:

  • Mount: the relationship is created when the locally exported server project that contains used projects is added back to the server. It is used to retain the original location of the used project.

If you do not want the Mount relationship to be created by default, remove the tick from the Maintain Mount Points of Used Projects checkbox in the Update from Local Project (Collaborate > Update from Local Project) dialog.

    t

  • <usedProjectName>_shared: is created in Containment tree as a replacement of the root node of the used project in local projects when elements exist directly under the root node of the used project
  • Project Usages: the root node dedicated for used projects is created in the Containment tree of server projects. The entire used project version is visible in the project.
