As of version 2022x, the SysML Plugin supports the SysML 1.7 specification.


QUDV model library for owned operations

The dependsOnUnits owned operation has been redefined with the dependsOnUnits operation owned by Unit for the following blocks: SimpleUnit, DerivedUnit, and ConversionBasedUnit. The dependsOnQuantityKinds owned operation for the SimpleQuanitityKind block has been redefined with the dependsOnQuantityKinds operation owned by QuantityKind.


Prefix::Symbol in the QUDV model library

In the QUDV model library, the multiplicity of Prefix::Symbol has been changed from [1] to [0..1].


Renamed allocation compartments

The Apply SysML 1.7 Allocation Compartment Naming symbol property allows renaming allocation compartments according to the SysML 1.7 standard. The "allocatedTo" compartment is renamed to "allocatedToElements", and the "allocatedFrom" compartment to"allocatedElements".

To rename allocation compartments for an element shape

  1. Right-click an element shape and select Symbol Properties.
  2. In the open dialog, set the Apply SysML 1.7 Allocation Compartment Naming property to true.


To rename allocation compartments for all new shapes of a specific element type

  1. In the main menu of a modeling tool, go to Options > Project.
  2. On the left side of the Project Options dialog, expand the Symbol styles property group.
  3. Find and select the desired element type.
  4. On the right side of the Project Options dialog, set the Apply SysML 1.7 Allocation Compartment Naming property to true.
