You can invoke the Find dialog to search for or replace specific data in the textual notation.

  • Use the Ctrl+F shortcut keys to invoke the Find dialog.

To search for data in the textual notation via the Find dialog


  1. Invoke the Find dialog.
  2. In the Find field, enter the word you are searching for.
    The found instances are highlighted throughout the notation.

Replacing data in the textual notation via the Find dialog

You can use the Find dialog to replace specific data in the textual notation. 

To replace data in the textual notation via the Find dialog


  1. Invoke the Find dialog.
  2. In the Find field, input the word you want to replace.
  3. On the left side of the dialog, click the right-facing arrow. The Find dialog is expanded.
  4. In the Replace field, input the replacement word.
  5. Do one of the following:
    1. To replace the highlighted instance of the word, either click the Replace button on the dialog or Enter on the keyboard.
    2. To replace all instances of the word, either click the Replace All button on the dialog or Ctrl+Alt+Enter on the keyboard.

      All instances of the word can also be changed via the Change All Occurrences (Ctrl+F2) command.
