The following features have been discontinued with the 2024x version release.
JavaScript Nashorn Scripting
The JavaScript Nashorn language usage has been removed from the modeling tool. Please use JavaScript Rhino instead. This affects expression-related functionality, e.g., custom validation rules, derived properties, smart packages, tables, and macros.

Record Macro Functionality
The Record Macro functionality has been discontinued. However, any previously recorded macros can still be used in the modeling tool.
SPEM Plugin
The SPEM 2.0 Plugin (16.8 and 16.9 versions) has been discontinued.
2022x
Discontinued Products
Beginning with the 2022x version, support of the following products is discontinued:
- CSV Import Plugin. Excel/CSV Sync or Excel/CSV Import features will be replacing the CSV Import Plugin.
- MagicDraw Professional Java Edition Floating License and MagicDraw Professional Java Edition Seat License. Java Code Engineering will be available in the modeling tool Enterprise editions. For customers with active software assurance (ALC), the upgrade to the Enterprise edition will come at no cost.
- JRuby scripting language. Any previously used scripts written in JRuby need to be rewritten in a different built-in scripting language. Otherwise, you can manually add JRuby to the modeling tool to continue using the existing JRuby scripts.
- Teamcenter Integration Plugin and Magic Teamcenter Connector. Starting with version 2022x, the Teamcenter Integration plugin is no longer available. You may continue to use your perpetual license of the product in accordance with the terms of your license agreement. The support for the product will be provided until the end of your current maintenance support subscription.
Discontinued Integrations
As of version 2022x, Cameo DataHub no longer supports HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Discontinued Plugin
CSV Import Plugin support will be discontinued from the next major version. Excel/CSV Sync or Excel/CSV Import features will be replacing the CSV Import Plugin.

The development of the following plugins is discontinued:
- Document Modeling Plugin (Model-based reports). For more effective model publishing and reviewing on the web, use Cameo Collaborator.
- To create Views and Viewpoints diagrams using the modeling tool with no plugins installed, use the Cameo Collaborator Publisher plugin or the SysML plugin instead.
- The DockBook Library Profile is no longer available.
- Methodology Wizard Plugin.
- QVT Plugin.
- Excel Import Plugin. We highly recommend using Excel/CSV Sync or Excel/CSV Import features instead.
- CSV Import Plugin. We highly recommend using Excel/CSV Sync or Excel/CSV Import features instead.
- LieberLieber Embedded Engineer plugin.
- Project Element Counter plugin.
- MBSE plugin.
- Document Modeling Plugin (Model-based reports). For more effective model publishing and reviewing on the web, use Cameo Collaborator.
- Web portal reports are no longer available. For more effective model publishing and reviewing on the web, use Cameo Collaborator. You can also use Web Publisher (Simple HTML) or Web Publisher 2.0 ReportWizard templates to generate HTML reports.
- WSDL Code Engineering and WSDL diagrams are no longer available.
- C# Code Engineering and C# Professional Edition are no longer available.
- CIL and CIL Disassembler Code Engineering are no longer available.
The News Reader (RSS) is no longer available. The notification at the right bottom corner of the modeling tool will inform you about the new version release instead.
- The no_install_mac.zip and 32-bit installation files are no longer offered for download.
- The Project Usage Map Profile is no longer available.
- The JavaScript Nashorn is deprecated with the intention of removing it. We highly recommend using JavaScript Rhino instead.
- The following 3rd party plugins are discontinued:
- Cameo Workbench
- Cameo Inter-Op
- ParaMagic Lite
- The following no cost plugins are no longer available in modeling tools:
- FAS. From now on, download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/fas4md.
- SYSMOD. From now on, download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sysmod4md/.
From Teamwork Server to Teamwork Cloud
Teamwork Server is no longer supported in the latest release. Teamwork Cloud should be used as a product for collaborative modeling and model version control. Customers still using Teamwork Server must migrate their server projects to TWCloud 19.0 series first and then upgrade to TWCloud 2021x.

From Cameo Collaborator for Alfresco to Cameo Collaborator for Teamwork Cloud
From version 2021x, Cameo Collaborator for Alfresco is no longer supported. We recommend using Cameo Collaborator for Teamwork Cloud instead.

19.0 LTR
Discontinued Integrations and Editions
- The Personal edition is discontinued for all modeling tools.
- For business process modeling, only the Cameo Business Modeler plugin is supported. The development of Cameo Business Modeler tool is discontinued.
- For Cameo Enterprise Architecture, only the Enterprise edition remains. Support of other editions is discontinued. We assure you that the modeling features will not be affected by this change.
- Integration of Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), openArchitectureWare (oAW), and AndroMDA are no longer supported.
- Neither Struts nor Web diagrams are supported in the modeling tool any longer.
Development of the Cameo SOA+ plugin is discontinued. However, you will still be able to load projects created in earlier versions with this plugin in your modeling tool. The maintenance of the SoaML profile is continued and SoaML diagrams have been moved to the SoaML profile resource.
END OF LIFE PRODUCTS
Effective Date: 31st December 2020
As part of our ongoing product lifecycle management process, we are announcing that from the 31st December 2020, the Products and Releases below will be transitioned to an “End of Life” status. From this date, the Products and Releases below will no longer be commercially available or developed by No Magic.
You may continue to use your perpetual license to the Products in accordance with the terms of your license agreement. After the effective date, we will no longer be able to provide you with license keys or media for your Products or Releases.
In the event a maintenance agreement between us has not been terminated or is not already expired, this End of Life notification serves as a notice of termination thereof with respect to the said product releases.
We are sure you can appreciate that the Products have had a product life cycle that, like many, eventually comes to a conclusion as more current, cost effective and efficient technologies become available.
As a valued customer of No Magic, there are a number of alternatives for you to consider. We will be happy to assist you in assessing your options and in balancing your technical and budgetary needs. Please do not hesitate to contact your assigned No Magic Sales representative.

From this Effective Date, the Products will no longer be commercially available from No Magic.
You may continue to use your perpetual license to the Products in accordance with the terms of your license agreement. We can provide you with keys, if required, until 31st Dec 2020, but after that date, no further keys will be available.
